Response to an incident is a critical activity that enables an organization to act rapidly and effectively to address an unexpected cybersecurity attack. Not all attacks result in disruption, particularly if the attack is investigated early or an organization is prepared. At Vancord, we believe it’s possible to respond effectively if you understand your environment, take steps to mitigate risks and proactively work with a trusted partner. We have developed our Incident Ready™ Service to address exactly that.

With our Incident Ready™ Service you’ll get:

  • Incident Response Readiness Report
  • One-year subscription to dark web monitoring for one domain with email alerts
  • Proactively engage your cyberliablity insurance carrier to ensure Vancord is pre-approved to engage in the event of an incident.
  • vISO Services –Twelve-month retainer, 2 hours per month to be used to evaluate a suspected cyber attack or security incident or to engage a Vancord engineer to discuss any information security topic of concern.
  • Immediate engagement of Vancord Rapid Response Team if an incident occurs

Incident Ready™ Assessment

Understanding your environment ensures you are prepared to recover in the event of an unexpected cyberattack. The scope of this assessment will focus on gathering information related to incident response policies and documentation, business continuity and disaster recovery, log collection and operational practices and evaluation of core network infrastructure. At the end, you will have a clear picture of your incident preparedness and your ability to withstand and recover from a cyber attack.

vISO Access

The Vancord Virtual Information Security Office (vISO) service is designed to ensure that the expertise of our collective security practitioners is coordinated as a team and made available to the leadership and technical staff of an organization.

As part of the Incident Ready™ Service you can use these hours to evaluate a suspected cyber attack or security incident or to engage a Vancord engineer to discuss any information security topic of concern.

Dark Web Monitoring

It used to be that bank vaults were a major target of thieves. But in the 21st century, an organization’s network and data are the bread and butter of cybercriminals.

When a hacker steals your identity, login credentials, or other sensitive information, they put it up on the dark web. The dark web is where sensitive data goes to be bought and sold online. There are more than 6,000 organizations on the dark web that sell ransomware products and services. Dark Web Monitoring alerts you in the event that your credentials or personally identifiable information is being stored or sold online and enables you to take action.
