Tim Mickelson graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2007 with a BA in Management Information Systems. After graduating, he moved to Connecticut and started working for Encon Construction doing networking and website design. After a few months he began work at CPI Computers, a small IT shop in Branford Connecticut, doing website design, PC diagnostics, and basic networking. After about a year, he was hired by Vancord (previously TBNG Consulting), where he has worked for the past 15 years. Starting off as a network technician he has achieved numerous certifications from many vendors including Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, Dell, Veeam, Barracuda, Fortinet, and Ruckus. Through hard work and dedication, he moved up from a Network Technician, to Systems Engineer I, Systems Engineer II, and finally to his current title of SE III and Senior Project Engineer.
